Cervantes and El Toro
I followed Tom's advice to find some sort of totem or talisman to make my pictures more personal. I was going to go with a figure of Francisco Franco, but figured that on a public blog someone would inevitably fail to get the irony and accuse me of being a fascist. Also, the only good Franco doll was 9 bucks, which is way too much for this purpose.
In the end, I settled on a figure of Miguel de Cervantes and a second figure of a bull. So Cervantes and El Toro will be the new characters in this Odyssey. Here they are at the Sinagoga del Transito.
